Collection: Shawl/Scarf

Pochi shawls have been handwoven on traditional looms by Ma Hnin, Sandar, Thuzar and our Chin weavers - they have practised their art for many years, and have now learned the more sophisticated skills needed for silk weaving. We continue to take on and train new weavers in these skills.

The loom and design setup for each shawl can takes up 20 days and then each design will take one weaver more than two days to complete; the fringes are hand-twisted following traditional Myanmar techniques.
